1. Healing extraction socket at site 46

Granular bone is present within the extraction socket at site 46, which reflects normal osseous healing. The density of this granular bone is lower than that of the surrounding trabecular bone.

2. Rarefying osteitis on tooth 36M

Rarefying osteitis is present at the mesial root apex of tooth 36. This may represent a site of persistent periapical pathology or post-treatment healing with fibrous scar tissue. No unfilled canals are evident. The distal root exhibits a normal post-treatment appearance. There is no evidence of a root fracture.

3. Retained root fragment of tooth 38

A retained root fragment is present within the alveolar process at site 38. No associated pathology is present. The surrounding trabecular bone density is relatively low, but this reflects a non-significant incidental finding.

4. Buccal exostosis adjacent to site 38

A small exostosis is present along the buccal aspect of the mandibular body adjacent to site 38. This is a non-significant incidental finding.

5. Oropharyngeal airway asymmetry: Medical referral recommended

A soft tissue prominence is present along the left posterior border of the tongue base, which extends into the oropharyngeal airway space. Medical referral is required for further investigation.

6. Mild cervical degenerative joint disease

Small osteophytes are present in the articular regions of the atlas and dens of the cervical vertebrae. This is a common incidental finding with no clinical significance that is suggestive of mild cervical degenerative joint disease.

7. Calcified cornua of thyroid cartilage

Both cornua of the thyroid cartilage are partially calcified. This is an incidental finding with no significance.
