1. Non-endodontic rarefying osteitis surrounding tooth 45 and right mental foramen

The root and the periradicular bone of tooth 45 appear to have partially sequestrated, and this lytic pattern of periradicular bone destruction may be a sign that the lymphoma has manifested within the mandible at sites 45 and 46. In addition, the presence of numbness on the right side is supportive of this diagnosis, as the right mental foramen appears to have been affected by the bone loss in the periradicular region of tooth 45. No reparative bone formation is visible at site 46. This radiographic appearance is highly suggestive of a malignant lesion in the mid-fourth quadrant.

2. Buccal abrasion of multiple teeth

Abrasion is present on the buccal surfaces of the premolars of the fourth quadrant. This is a nonsignificant incidental finding.

3. Sclerotic bone at site 47

The bone at site 47 is sclerotic but appears normal otherwise. This is a nonsignificant finding.
