Developing tooth 15

Tooth 15 is developing normally. The root of tooth 15 is 20% formed.

Generalized stunted root development of the permanent teeth

The remainder of the unerupted permanent teeth in the first quadrant exhibit stunted root development due to the premature closures of the apical foramina. The permanent teeth exhibit high crown-to-root ratios. The prognosis of the permanent teeth is hopeless.

Impacted stunted tooth 11

Tooth 11 is inverted and impacted at site 11. This impacted tooth has not had any effects on its surrounding structures.

Tooth 11 exhibits stunted root development due to the premature closure of the apical foramen of the tooth. Tooth 11 exhibits a hopeless prognosis.

Axial views of tooth 11

These axial cross-sectional images demonstrate the hyperplastic follicle surrounding the inverted and impacted tooth 11. The root of tooth 11 exhibits stunted development due to the premature closure of the apical foramen of the tooth. Tooth 11 is not ankylosed.

Stunted root development of tooth 21

The root of tooth 21 exhibits stunted development due to the premature closure of the apical foramen of the tooth. Tooth 21 exhibits a high crown-to-root ratio and a hopeless prognosis.

Tooth 21 is unaffected by the impacted tooth 11.

Distally displaced + stunted root development of tooth 12

The root of tooth 12 has been distally displaced by the unerupted tooth 13. There is no evidence of root resorption on tooth 12.

The root of tooth 12 exhibits stunted development due to the premature closure of the apical foramen of the tooth. Tooth 12 exhibits a high crown-to-root ratio and a hopeless prognosis.

Stunted root development of tooth 13

The root of tooth 13 exhibits stunted development due to the premature closure of the apical foramen of the tooth. Tooth 13 exhibits a high crown-to-root ratio and a hopeless prognosis.

Tooth 13 is unaffected by the impacted tooth 11.

Axial views of anterior first quadrant

These axial cross-sectional images demonstrate the position of the inverted and impacted tooth 11. There are no effects on the surrounding structures. There is no evidence of root resorption on any of the permanent teeth captured in this imaging volume.

Distoangularly oriented tooth 16

Tooth 16 is is partially captured in this imaging volume and appears distoangularly oriented. The root of tooth 16 exhibits stunted root development due to the premature closure of the apical foramen of the tooth. No further comments can be made based on this limited field of view.

1. Dense bone island at site 16

A dense bone island is present within the alveolar process at site 16 and is partially captured in this imaging volume. Based on what can be visualized in this imaging volume, there are no effects on the surrounding structures. This is a non-significant incidental finding.

2. Dense bone island at site 13

A dense bone island is present within the alveolar process at site 13. This dense bone island has not had any effects on its surrounding structures and is a non-significant incidental finding.

3. Hypoplastic right maxillary sinus

The floor of the right maxillary sinus is located superior to the floor of the nasal fossa, which suggests that the right maxillary sinus is hypoplastic. This is an anatomic variant.
