1. Dysplastic bone in posterior left mandible
A localized zone of low density granular dysplastic bone is present in the posterior left mandible in the region inferior to the left inferior alveolar nerve canal. The entity has caused endosteal scalloping of the buccal and lingual cortical plates, but has not caused any expansion. The border of the inferior alveolar nerve canal remains intact adjacent to the entity. The periphery of the entity is sclerotic and appears partially corticated. The superior aspect of the entity was not captured in this image volume. The overall radiographic appearance is suggestive of a localized zone of bone dysplasia, or a healing simple bone cyst. Regardless, this is a non-significant finding, that does not require treatment.
2. Calcified stylohyoid ligament
The left stylohyoid ligament is partially calcified. This is an incidental finding with no significance.
