1. Early periapical cemental dysplasia on tooth 46

A localized region of dysplastic bone is present in the periapical region of the mesial root of tooth 46. This region of dysplastic bone is surrounded by a sclerotic periphery. This appearance is suggestive of the presence of maturing periapical cemental dysplasia which is an incidental finding that does not require treatment.

2. Periapical cemental dysplasia at tooth 45

A small partially mature focus of periapical cemental dysplasia is present in the periapical region of tooth 45. This is an incidental finding with no clinical significance. No treatment is required.

3. Cemental dysplasia at tooth 44

A mature focus of cemental dysplasia is present in the periapical region of tooth 44. This focus of cemental dysplasia has a radiopaque internal structure, a radiolucent periphery, and a sclerotic rim.

4. Periapical cemental dysplasia at tooth 43

A heterogeneous focus of cemental dysplasia is present in the periapical region of tooth 43.

5. Periapical cemental dysplasia at tooth 42

A heterogeneous focus of cemental dysplasia is present in the periapical region of tooth 42.

6. Periapical cemental dysplasia at tooth 41

A maturing focus of periapical cemental dysplasia is present at tooth 41.

7. Periapical cemental dysplasia at tooth 31

A maturing focus of periapical cemental dysplasia is present at tooth 31.

8. Simple bone cyst associated with cemental dysplasia at tooth 32

The periapical cemental dysplasia in the anterior third quadrant is associated with a simple bone cyst. This simple bone cyst extends into the periapical region of tooth 32. The radiographic features that support the diagnosis of a simple bone cyst are the delicately corticated periphery of the entity, the radiolucent internal structure, the absence of effects on surrounding structures, and the association of the entity with a focus of cemental dysplasia.

9. Periapical cemental dysplasia at tooth 33

A mature focus of periapical cemental dysplasia is present at tooth 33. This lesion is associated with a simple bone cyst.

10. Simple bone cyst at tooth 34

A simple bone cyst extends around the periapical region of tooth 34. This simple bone cyst has not had any effects on tooth 34, and has not caused any effects to the mandible other than endosteal scalloping of the lingual cortex.

Coronal views of anterior third quadrant

These coronal cross-sectional images demonstrate the simple bone cyst that is associated with the cemental dysplasia in the anterior third quadrant.

11. Calcified stylohyoid ligaments

The stylohyoid ligaments are calcified bilaterally. This is an incidental finding with no clinical significance.
