Site 17: Borderline bone levels

A 5x8mm cylinder was overlaid on the adjacent images at site 17. Barely enough bone exists to cover the cylinder at this site.

Mild mucositis in right maxillary sinus

The right maxillary sinus exhibits mild mucositis, which represents an incidental finding with no clinical significance. The graft at site 17 has healed normally.

1. Orthogonal views of mild right maxillary sinus mucositis

These orthogonal cross-sectional images demonstrate the mild mucositis in the right maxillary sinus from various perspectives.

Site 46: Adequate bone

A 5x11mm cylinder was overlaid on the adjacent images at site 46. Adequate bone exists for implant placement at this site.

Site 47: Adequate bone

A 5x13mm cylinder was overlaid on the adjacent images at site 47. Adequate bone exists for implant placement at this site.

2. Localized moderate bone loss and vertical defect on tooth 16D

A localized vertical bone defect is present on the distal surface of the distobuccal root of tooth 16. In addition, mild distal furcal periodontal bone loss is present.

3. Dense bone island at site 46

A dense bone island is continuous with the buccal cortex of the alveolar process at site 46. This is an incidental finding with no significance. In addition, low density trabecular bone is present in the region apical to this dense bone island.

4. Torus palatinus

A small torus composed of cortical bone is present at the palatal midline. This is an incidental finding with no significance.

5. Calcification in right sublingual region

A linear calcification is present in the right sublingual region. This most likely represents excess particulate graft material, and is an incidental finding with no significance.
