1. Healing extraction socket at site 11

Low-density granular bone has formed within the extraction socket at site 11. This is representative of a healing bone pattern.

2. Marsupialized nasopalatine duct cyst

A well-defined, unilocular cystic entity with a corticated periphery has formed at the maxillary midline in the region of the incisive canal. Internally, this entity contains an air/fluid level, which suggests that it has been marsupialized. The borders of the incisive canal and the nasal floor exhibit expansion. This entity requires surgical treatment.

Axial views of anterior maxilla

These axial cross-sectional images demonstrate the cystic expansion of the proximal region of the incisive canal by the nasopalatine duct cyst, as well as the partial drainage of the marsupialized lesion into the nasal cavity

Coronal views of anterior maxilla

These coronal cross-sectional images demonstrate the cystic shape of the expansion of the proximal region of the incisive canal. The terminal portion of the canal in the region of the incisive papilla remains unaffected.

Sagittal views of maxillary midline

These sagittal cross-sectional images demonstrate the displacement and dehiscence of the nasal floor by the nasopalatine duct cyst in the proximal region of the incisive canal.

3. Mild mucositis of left maxillary sinus

The portion of the left maxillary sinus that is visible in the field of view exhibits mild mucositis, which represents an incidental finding with no clinical significance.

4. Extruded endodontic sealer apical to tooth 12

A small amount of endodontic sealer has been extruded into the periapical region of tooth 12. This is a non-significant incidental finding. No pathology surrounds this extruded sealer.
