1. Splayed anterior teeth due to macroglossia
Macroglossia is present. The anterior teeth are splayed, as a result. A prominent anterior open bite is present.
Normal teeth in the posterior first quadrant
No caries are present at teeth 14, 15, 16, and 17. Mild periodontal bone loss appears to be present around tooth 16.
Normal teeth in the anterior first quadrant
Teeth 11, 12, and 13 do not exhibit any signs of caries. These teeth have been buccally splayed. Interproximal spaces are present.
Normal teeth in the anterior second quadrant
Teeth 21, 22, and 23 appears normal radiographically, and do not exhibit any caries. These teeth are splayed buccally, and interproximal spacing is present between teeth 21 and 22.
Normal teeth in posterior second quadrant
Teeth 24, 25, 26, and 27 appear normal radiographically. No caries are present. Interproximal spacing is present around these teeth.
Normal teeth in posterior third quadrant
Teeth 34, 35, 36, and 37 appear normal radiographically. No caries or periodontal pathology is present. Interproximal spaces are present around tooth 34.
Normal teeth in the anterior third quadrant
Teeth 31, 32, and 33 appear normal radiograpically. No signs of caries or periodontal pathology are present. Interproximal spacing is present around tooth 33. These teeth are buccally splayed.
Normal teeth in the anterior fourth quadrant
Teeth 41, 42, and 43 appear normal radiographically. No signs of caries or periodontal pathology are present. These teeth are buccally splayed and exhibit interproximal spacing.
Orthogonal views of posterior fourth quadrant
Teeth 45, 46, and 47 appear normal radiographically. Tooth 46 exhibits caries and periodontal bone loss on its distal surface. Interproximal spacing is present between teeth 46 and 47.
2. Caries at tooth 46D
These orthogonal cross-sectional images demonstrate the carious lesion that is forming at the distal surface of tooth 46 at the level of the cemento-enamel junction. Localized periodontal bone loss is also present at the distal surface of the coronal third of the distal root of the tooth.
3. Left antral pseudocyst
A pseudocyst is present within the left maxillary sinus in the region apical to tooth 27. The radiographic features that support this diagnosis are the dome shape of the entity, the region of the entity within the sinus, and the absence of any effect on the surrounding structures.
4. Calcified stylohyoid ligaments
The stylohyoid ligaments are partially calcified bilaterally. This is an incidental finding with no clinical significance.
